We are a part of a new center for Synthetic Genomics!
Recently an article in a popular german science journal was published about the work of Miao, Sara, and Hao in our lab!
They directly visualised intrinsically disordered proteins (IDP) in the nuclear pore complex, shedding light into the nuclear transport machinery. This was achieved through a combination of computer simulations, synthetic biology, and fluorescence microscopy.
